The worst Starbucks ever. Why would they ever close off entire sections of seating just to sweep and mop? Always, always, always I regret going there and today I swore to myself again that tonight was my last time. Just as I ordered my coffee in a mug, the manager out of nowhere goes and closes off all the lounge chairs (there's 6 of them!) and some regular table and chairs too! I was so upset I just walked out with mug and coffee and went to the better Bryn Mawr location even though it is a tiny bit further from my apt. Now the Bryn Mawr joint has one extra mug. I am so tired of fuming over their backwards cleaning operations. No other place that I've been to closes off seating to customers. It just makes no sense.

Starbucks is a Starbucks. This one has the Clover brewed coffee which some might appreciate where others won't give a hoot. Lot parking can be a bit challenging as it shares the spots with a few businesses in this small strip mall type building. There's additional parking on the side of the building and the back as well as metered parking on the street. Tons of tables and space inside. Again, it's Starbucks.

Always slow and today I saw one of the baristas bitch out a customer because she didn't like how he took his credit card back. The manager was standing two feet away, but ignored it.

I love getting hot chocolate here then sitting down and doing some work I own my own business n I don't really have an office I'm also not the type of person that can workout at home so I find myself here a good amount doing work. The hot chocolate is always good great start before I do my work

Lots of seating, though it does get cramped before dinnertime. FYI - Stay away after school hours if you don't want to be surrounded by middle/high schoolers. I like the layout of this Starbucks better than most. There's areas for group/hangout, and areas for individual work... and a fireplace.

Revision due to recent experiences! This Starbucks has a lot to offer- it's a Clover store, the seating is so plentiful that's it shocking and it's quite clean. Loads of additional parking in the back! Today my Starbucks app wasn't loading my reward properly. Instead of writing me off for not having a freebie (which seems to be common), my barista was so professional. She scanned it a few times until it finally worked! Even though the clover machine produces a rather consistent product, this one was top notch...a sign of a great brewer. While cleaning the store, the associate was more than accommodating and didn't ask customers to move or get out of her way. In fact, she actually apologized for cleaning. I felt bad about that since she was so nice. A great experience.

Worst Starbucks ever, tried complaining before but they are owned by Saint Joes. Smh If I want a coffee that bad, I wait until target opens on City Ave. at eight instead. Everyone that works there acts like your bothering them. Best way I can explain it. Gave them two stars because the coffee is made correctly.

First off, the advertising in the store is horrible. There was a display of breakfast sandwiches that were labeled collectively as "breakfast sandwiches". No further descriptions for each sand which. So if you wanted a specific sandwich you saw, you had no idea what to tell the cashier. When I told the cashier I wanted a breakfast sandwich she frustratedly asked, "which one?". Well maybe if you labeled them I would know which one I wanted. She also failed to inform me of the options which in turn led to me canceling the whole order. Horrible customer service. The way the line formed was ridiculous. Find another Starbucks location. You won't regret it.

I visit this store often. The staff is generally professional. Not overly accommodating or friendly. There is an employee named Dev who is downright RUDE. I'm not sure if this is a male or female but this person should be avoided. When I walk in and see Dev on duty - I leave and drive to a different coffee shop. When I notified a shift supervisor that Dev was extremely rude to me, she commiserated with me. Apparently the manager is on maternity leave so there is nobody to handle a come to Jesus with Dev.

The line at this Starbucks location was extremely long this morning, almost reaching the far end of the store, yet they still manage to make the customers' beverages really quick and efficient. I also forgot my wallet here, and when I realized that I did 20 mins later, I called this location and someone actually picked up the phone despite their being very busy and told me they have my wallet (after I described it). I drove back to retrieve it and the woman behind the counter handed it to me - all cards and $40 + cash still intact and untouched. Thank you for all that you do. Much appreciated

So, this review will be in the perspective of somebody else. There was this elderly man clearly with a vocal problem. So the customer pointed to the point that he wanted. But the barista insisted in him telling her what "the sign says". He was clearly pointing at the item he wanted. He did eventually get the lemon pastry he had asked for. But this was extremely rude.

Dear Starbucks, Damn you for making me shell out 4 bucks a pop for my stupid guilty pleasure. The dreaded Venti Skim Chai Latte. The manliest of the manly drinks. Having consumed this beverage now for about 5 years at the rate of one a day I can say without a doubt that if I had saved the money I would be driving a Kia Spectra that I had paid for in cash ( with Navigation too! ). Damn you Starbucks and your delicious liquidy inventions! ( shakes fist ) Seeing as I prefer the car I drive to a korean sub compact , lets move ahead to the actual location in question and give you the dear reader a little run down on the happenings. Starbucks , 138 Montgomery Ave location. A delightful cast of characters runs this place. Its a Starbucks so everything available at any other Starbucks is on offer here , no surprise there really. They do have a nice fireplace and comfy chairs around it. The place is always clean which is not always the case at other Starbucks. 5 stars Side note, ever notice the "Music Download Of The Week" cards? I always laugh when I see these because the initial use for these was to promote unknown artists to people by offering a free download. Fair enough. When I saw Paul McCartney one day as a free download though , I laughed to myself "hey, I've heard of this McCartney guy, I think he is going places! " Starbucks and the music thing sort of doest work. Evidenced by the copy of Katy Perry's latest magnum opus on sale at the counter there the other day. They could have stuck to their guns and sold some better music. I get angry when I see the CD's being sold sometimes, but thats my issue. The location is nice , parking is easy and the staff is really pleasant as I stated earlier. I like my daily visit to Starbucks and I usually leave with a smile. So thanks Starbucks. You have a good product and nice employees. Bala Cynywd Location is now on the map at YELP.......yee to the hizz AH!!!!! Another side note......maybe a strange one. Have you noticed the water they sell there? Its called ETHOS and apparently when you buy it , some of the money they receive from the sale of the WATER goes towards providing water to people in Africa. Seems like a great idea but it leaves me with the thought. "I just bought water , why don't you just send this bottle of water to Africa instead? " Kind of makes sense! Try to argue with that logic. GO STARBUCKS!

Pros: Good coffee. Cons: Gets really crowded. Music is too loud for my tastes. Otherwise, just like any other Starbucks.

This is my favorite Starbucks. The service is incredibly fast. Even when they are croweded with a long line, the staff never falters and drinks are always excellent and come out quickly. If there's something wrong with your drink, they will make you another one without giving you a problem about it. Lots of seating (inside), and a few tables outside. The baristas are excellent, and they often times remember my drink as soon as I walk in the door. My only gripe is that the music in the evening gets a too loud for a coffee shop, and the staff likes to play weird 80's music (perhaps because the staff likes it?). The staff also seems annoyed when you ask them to turn the music down....this shouldn't be 'club starbucks'!!

This SBUX, on Montgomery Avenue, is infinitely better than the Ardmore location. Ardmore seems to draw a more "swanky" crowd while this one has more down-to-earth neighborhood folks. And, there's much more room here, and a nice fake fireplace. Sometimes drivers wrangle over the limited number of free parking spaces, but there's plenty of metered street parking.

Pros: -BJ. He looks like a viking but is the best employee I've ever encountered at a fivebucks. -Clover machine. They need something to keep up with town hall (town hall still wins by a mile), but the clover machine is a great addition. -Reserve Coffees. The only one in the area (along with the clover machine) to feature these types. They are expensive, but the taste far surpasses their usual beans. Cons:Parking, but that is every starbucks

There is a reason this is one of the two locations in Philly with a CLOVER press. Nice atmosphere even when it is busy. Feels like a neighborhood hangout.
